Welcome to our band's website! I am beyond excited to get to work with all of you. If you ever need anything or have any questions, please reach out.

I went to college at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA, where I completed music and secondary education degrees in 2021. After graduation, I moved to Mitchell with my wife Kaitlyn and accepted the Mitchell Middle School Band position, which I held from fall of 2021 to spring of 2025. In spring of 2025, the high school director Mr. Stahle and I decided to switch rolls, and I took over the high school program summer of 2025. I currently direct both symphonic bands, the high school marching band, one of the jazz bands, the musical pit band, and show choir pit band, and the middle school drum line. During summer time, I am the coordinating music director for the Mitchell Municipal Band. I currently serve on the SDMEA board as the Middle School Jazz Chair and am very involved in our church as the church choir director and sing most Sundays on praise team. I had the privilege to travel to Disney World with the high school band in the spring of 2022 and spring of 2026.

I have been married to my beautiful wife Kaitlyn for 6 years and have one amazing daughter Cecelia (CeCe for short) and twin boys Elijah and Ezra. We also have a Whoodle named Coda, who is quite spoiled!
