Dear Band Parents, Our first weekend of competition is a very busy one! Below is the itinerary for Saturday, 9.20 as we first perform here in town at the Blue and White Days Parade, then at the Waseca Marching Classic. Itinerary 9/20/14 9:00AM Meet in Band Room (dressed in uniform) 9:30AM March over to starting position at MCTEA parking lot 10:00AM March in DWU Parade *10:30AM Get out of uniforms and take sack lunch on bus 11:00AM DEPART FOR WASECA 3:00PM ARRIVE AT WASECA AND REPORT TO CLINIC 3:15PM Report to locations Winds/Battery/Guard – to warm up spots Frontline to trailer and practice field 4:00PM CLINIC (All band members will wear uniform pants with band t-shirts) *5:00PM Frontline loads trailer, winds pack up instruments, etc.We will eat at clinic site 5:40PM Get dressed into full uniforms 6:00PM Report to locations Winds/Battery/Guard – to warm up spots Frontline to trailer and performance field 6:40PM Report to gate 6:55PM FINAL PERFORMANCE 7:10PM Load trailers and buses #8:00PM AWARDS #8:30PM Depart for Mitchell #12:30AM Arrive in Mitchell *If your child did not sign up for the meal plan with Mrs. Loveland, you will have the option to pay $4 to get a lunch and dinner with the rest of the band. As you can see on the schedule, there is little to no time to find food elsewhere. If you do not pay for meals that day, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for your own sack lunch/dinner. #Approximate Times DIRECTIONS TO WASECA The Waseca Marching Classic is held at the Waseca High School.
