Dear Parents, As many of you are aware, we have had GREAT SUCCESS with our foreign exchange students here at MHS. Virginia Lambert is looking for a family for a special student from Italy (see note below from Alessandro). Please take a moment to read about this student and consider hosting this year! If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Virginia (vwlambert@gmail.com, 605.940.1311). Thanks so much for considering! Ryan Stahle From Allesandro... "I just turned 17 on July 5 -- the day after USA's Independence Day! my family includes my mother and father, my sister who is older than me, my grandmother and my great grandfather. live with my mom and our dog and two cats in Anzio, a city of 50,000 to 75,000 about two hour drive from Rome, Italy. I love to play the guitar. In fact, I play every day. I like all sorts of music, rock, blues and folk music. I also enjoy watching movies, sports, shopping, fishing and listening to music. I am looking forward to spending a year in America to learn more about your culture and meet new people. I love learning and trying new things, Roman history and doing science experiments. In addition to enjoying music I practice martial arts and play volleyball. I love watching and playing football, basketball, volleyball and other sports. Last year my volleyball team won the regional volleyball championship. I help my mom and grandma cook and they are very good Italian cooks, so I hope I can share some of this with my host family. I also help keep the house clean by vacuuming and doing dishes. I love to travel and am really excited to spend time having fun with my host family." ![]()
